Vari-Stroke / Volume Compressor

Power Curve Vari-Stroke Compressors use our patented Power Curve motion conversion technology as the mechanical movement to convert rotary motion of the crankshaft into linear motion of the piston(s). This arrangement compresses air in the way a connecting rod linkage compressor does, however, this new technology is more durable, smaller, lighter, less expensive and more efficient than the same displacement compressor it will replace.

This Power Curve compressor is a radial 4 cylinder. Power Curve compressors can be designed with one cylinder to 8 cylinders according to the application.

Power Curve Vari-Stroke / Volume is accomplished with the use of the patented hydraulic variable crankshaft. The crank pin offset distance is variable through the use of a remote hydraulic control system like the master cylinder and wheel cylinder used on automobile brakes. This combined arrangement allows the stroke travel length and volume of the compressor to be varied while the compressor is operating. In other words, the compressor volume can be varied on-the-fly.

There are countless applications for this new innovation.
