Vari-Stroke Variable Volume Pump

Power Curve Vari-Stroke Pump uses our patented Power Curve motion conversion technology as the mechanical movement to convert rotary motion of the crankshaft into linear motion of the piston(s). This arrangement pumps fluid in the way a connecting rod linkage pump does, however, this new technology is more durable, smaller, lighter, less expensive and more efficient than the same displacement pump it will replace.

Power Curve Vari-Stroke is accomplished with the use of our patented hydraulic variable stroke crankshaft. The variable stroke crank pin offset distance, or stroke length, is movable with the use of a remote hydraulic control mechanism.

The control mechanism works just like the master cylinder and wheel cylinder used to operate automobile brakes. The Power Curve pump control mechanism allows the crankshaft offset (stroke length) to be varied on-the-fly, i.e., while the pump is operating the stroke length can be adjusted. This arrangement allows the Power Curve pump to produce variable output volume while operating.

In other words, the Power Curve pump can produce a changing range of volume output while it is running according to the desired setting of the control mechanism.

There are countless applications for this new innovation.
